Not exactly. xDeals uses XD, a trade credit you earn and spend on the platform — never cash, never required upfront. It solves the classic barter problem of needing someone who wants exactly what you have; with XD, any trader can accept your offer.
Most of a trade settles in XD. If there's a gap between what's offered and the target value, both parties can optionally agree on a cash difference, settled directly between you — cash on delivery in person, or through the courier's own COD service for shipped items. xDeals never touches, holds, or processes that cash; it's a documented term between the two of you, not a payment we process.
It's your ability to draw a little "ahead" of your current balance to complete a trade, similar to a credit line but earned through trade history — not a loan, and never called one. It unlocks once you're KYC-verified and have completed two trades with two different counterparties.
Every trade is confirmed by both people before it settles, and delivery is verified through photos at listing, pre-shipment, and receipt. If a dispute comes up, it's reviewed — and once resolved, action goes toward the account responsible rather than reversing what already settled.
Yes — signing up, listing, and browsing are all free. A small transaction fee (1.5% from both buyer and seller) applies only when a trade actually completes. Premium plans add convenience and visibility features, never special treatment for trust, dispute outcomes, or fees.
No — individuals, families, freelancers, and SMBs are all welcome. Business accounts get additional verification options and tools once they're ready to scale.
